Description

This course examines how different political systems manage their diverse ethnic communities. It aims to give students a broad overview of how minorities in the Asia Pacific negotiate their identities and political space vis-à-vis the state.

Pre-requisites

15 points in POLS at 100-level for one course; 30 points in POLS at 100-level for two or
more courses. Students not meeting the prerequisites but with at least a B average in 60 points in appropriate courses may be admitted to take Political Science courses at the 200-level with the approval of the Programme Director.
