UC defines adult students as those starting university study for the very first time and who are aged 20 years of age and over. We offer a range of support to help you get started and study alongside your other commitments, and stay connected with other adult students. 

UC Māori provides support for all ākonga Māori studying at Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha. Whether you need academic or financial support, guidance or social connection, we've got you covered. The UC Pacific Development Team is fostering a supportive community environment where all our Pacific and Pasifika students can study and grow. Being part of a global network gives our students opportunities to gain global experience. We also provide spaces for international students from to study part of their qualification in their home country and finish this at UC.
