Deadline to drop courses and receive a full refund
If you're fully enrolled, you can add or drop courses for a short period of time after the Official Course Start Date. Any courses dropped by the deadline will be fully refunded and there is no charge for adding courses to your enrolment within this timeframe.
The deadline for each course depends on the course's semester code (eg 'S1' or 'Semester One') - check for the relevant semester code below.

Some semester codes have variable start and end dates and so have variable deadlines to add and drop courses. These semester codes are:
SU1 (Summer One - Jan start),
SU2 (Summer Two - Nov start),
T1 (Term One),
T2 (Term Two),
T3 (Term Three),
T4 (Term Four),
CY (Cross Year),
X (General non-calendar-based),
X1 (Special non-calendar-based One),
X2 (Special non-calendar-based Two),
A (Anytime start), excluding thesis courses.
The deadlines for courses with these semester codes depend on the duration of the course and are as follows.

Deadline to drop courses (without a refund)
The final date to drop courses with no refund (excluding PhD and Master's by Thesis-only students) is when 75% of the course has been completed. Courses withdrawn by this date will not show on an Academic Transcript, will not receive a grade, and will not be eligible for a refund.
