UC Social Media Approval Request
Set-up or administration of a UC social media account* first requires approval from the relevant Head of Department/School (HOD/S) or Service Unit Manager, and then from the Digital Manager.
To request permission to set up a new social media account or access to an existing social media account, please complete the form below.
*Officially sanctioned accounts are those intended to represent the University and/or its service areas, colleges, departments, schools or programmes on platforms including but not limited to Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Flickr, Vine, LinkedIn, blogs and wikis. Does not include social media accounts run by affiliates (such as University of Canterbury Students' Association clubs).
