START Me fitness starter sessions
Are you new to the gym and not sure how to use things? We understand! That's why we have a selection of FREE Fitness Starter Sessions to teach you how to use all things gym. Simply choose your session type and book a timeslot at reception.
- FREE 30 minute introductory sessions
- Basic techniques to keep you safe - alignment, entry/exit strategies, principles to modify the exercises, equipment set up
- 4-6 simple exercises to get you started
- We teach you the tools to design your own programmes
- Bookings essential - contact reception
- Please specify at the time of booking if you prefer a male or female instructor
- Sessions may take up to 6 people (depending on session type).
- If you're after an individual session, consider our STEER Me and PUSH Me services
Terms and conditions
- Please be aware that the RecCentre is a teaching gym. As such, your fitness consultant may be a student in-training (not yet qualified) or a recent graduate trying to gain experience. In such cases, a regular trainer may be present at some sessions to ensure your safety, and to provide feedback to our trainee.
