Our Charitable Trusts
The University of Canterbury Foundation is grateful to receive donations from graduates and supporters around the world that advance the University’s three pillars of teaching excellence, innovative research, and community outreach. To support tax-efficient giving from the US and UK, we have established The University of Canterbury Foundation in America, Inc. and the University of Canterbury NZ Trust.
The University of Canterbury Foundation in America is a registered 501(c)(3) organization and donations made by US taxpayers are eligible for tax deductions to the extent provided under US law. The University of Canterbury NZ Trust is a registered charitable trust and all donations made by UK taxpayers are eligible for gift aid.
