The 2021 University of Canterbury
Your gift can make a difference
The telephone campaign, 3 May - 4 June, is a great way for the University of Canterbury to keep in touch with our alumni to update them on University news, hear about what they are up to now and invite them to support the University of Canterbury Foundation Annual Appeal.
Our student callers love speaking with UC graduates and friends of the University who are located all around the world. It is an opportunity to share the great work of the University of Canterbury Annual Appeal Fund, which does so much for the University, including providing financial assistance through needs-based scholarships, supporting “blue sky” research, and bolstering community engagement initiatives which are building pathways for younger generations towards higher education.
In past years, the Telephone Campaign has been a fantastic success, with donations and pledges from Alumni and supporters making a big difference to students, academics and the wider UC community.
This upcoming campaign will run for five weeks through May and early June, with a team of student callers who are all very much looking forward to speaking with you and hearing your news.
Each and every donation really does make a huge difference to life at UC.
Every year the need to support access and innovation at the University grows. At the University of Canterbury, we remain committed to ensuring we can support students from all backgrounds, and that is why the Annual Appeal is so important. The UC Foundation is very grateful for all donations it receives.
So, please do pick up the phone and take a moment to reflect upon your time at the University of Canterbury and think of those who are about to begin their own journeys here.
