APRIL PASIFIKA GRADUATION CELEBRATION 2020
On 16 March the Ministry of Health advised that gatherings of 500 or more people should be cancelled to help limit the potential spread of COVID-19 in New Zealand.
In response to this, and due to the evolving COVID-19 situation, University of Canterbury (UC) graduation ceremonies scheduled for 7 and 9 April won’t go ahead including the April Pasifika Graduation Celebration which was scheduled for Wednesday 8th April.
UC has contacted all graduands directly. Their qualifications will be formally conferred in absentia and certificates will be posted to graduates. UC plans to hold graduation celebrations later in the year to celebrate and recognise their significant achievements.
