Organic (non-advertising) Posts


There are no official size guidelines for Facebook organic posts, however the larger the image the more engaging it will look.

As a guideline:

  • Image size: Max 1,200 x 900 pixels
  • Ensure the image is at least full-width when displayed in the News Feed (minimum 504 px wide)


  • Try to keep Facebook post text short and snappy
  • Limit the post to one or two sentences
  • Try to end your post with a call to action or a (shortened) link to find out more
  • Posts that entice people to like or comment will receive more engagement – widening your post's reach
  • Always check for spelling or grammatical errors before posting
