Social and Environmental Sustainability

Introduction

Studying Social and Environmental Sustainability gives you the opportunity to learn about ways we can look after the environment and each other, from businesses and products through to policy and communities.

You will understand how human behaviour, investment decisions, and society and culture can impact the world we live in.

UC's Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability degree will give you foundational skills in recognising and creating sustainable change, and includes study in a major subject.

What will my study involve?

  • Wide range of subjects and topics such as community development, Indigenous worldviews, business and advertising, and environmental policy so you can customise your study around issues you care about.
  • Develop communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to make real change for some of the world's biggest problems in the environment and in humanitarianism.
  • Build on UC's growing reputation for humanitarian and social movements on disaster relief, terrorism, environmental science, and the rainbow community.
