As we grow as a nation, Aotearoa and the world needs to recognise and include our indigenous communities into future industry.
UC's Bachelor of Māori Innovation degree is available to those working in the iwi sector, giving you learning opportunities and new skills to apply to your current projects, and includes study in a major subject.
- Gain key skills in identifying and resolving issues for Māori and indigenous communities.
- Learn how to include mātauranga Māori in the contemporary workplace and adapt for future developments such as technology and policy.
- Get insight to global approaches and problems with indigenous communities, including Australia, Canada, the USA, and more.
Bachelor of Māori Innovation
UC offers the Bachelor of Māori Innovation, which includes compulsory courses and study in one of the following majors:
Studying Māori innovation at UC will give you strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills, which can advance your career in the iwi sector, prepare you to support other industries, and go beyond Aotearoa to help other countries and their indigenous communities gain equity.
