What does the graduate profile mean to me?

By nurturing a spirit of inquiry, UC challenges you to explore your chosen academic landscape, venturing into unfamiliar fields of knowledge and learning. We extend this to encourage you to be bicultural, employable, global citizens within your communities and wider New Zealand, with a life-long love of learning and giving.

These skills sit within each curriculum area and are called the graduate attributes. While incorporating the attributes into your learning may require a shift in thinking, it shouldn’t require any extra time. The skills will assist you in your career development process and will make you a more employable graduate.

This diagram demonstrates how the attributes are embedded within the discipline area and how the dimensions are inter-related to each other.
