The third year Internship is the capstone experience for students in the UC Bachelor of Sport program. As part of this course, students complete a 120-hour placement in a professional sport-related workplace or organisation, gaining hands-on experience in their chosen field.
This internship helps students develop essential critical reflection, technical, and interpersonal skills, preparing them to thrive in a professional sporting environment.
Internship Requirements

Internship Timing
Internships are offered twice a year:
- First intake: Late February
- Second intake: Mid-July

We are grateful to our workplace supervisors for mentoring and supporting our students throughout their internships. Supervisors are expected to guide students and provide feedback, including completing a supervisor’s report.
