Bachelor of Sport Internship

UC’s SPRT 320 Internship offers students hands-on sport industry experience and gives organisations the chance to mentor emerging talent.

HOW TO APPLY

The third year Internship is the capstone experience for students in the UC Bachelor of Sport program. As part of this course, students complete a 120-hour placement in a professional sport-related workplace or organisation, gaining hands-on experience in their chosen field.

This internship helps students develop essential critical reflection, technical, and interpersonal skills, preparing them to thrive in a professional sporting environment.

 

Internship Requirements

Students undertake their main internship role or project within their chosen major. For more details on each major, follow the links below:

Internship Timing

Internships are offered twice a year:

  • First intake: Late February
  • Second intake: Mid-July

 

Partner Organisations

We are grateful to our workplace supervisors for mentoring and supporting our students throughout their internships. Supervisors are expected to guide students and provide feedback, including completing a supervisor’s report.
