Cosmogenics

The school operates a comprehensive cosmogenic exposure dating facility.

Microscopy

The school maintains a selection of research miroscopes.

Palaeontology

The Palaeontology Laboratory has facilities for preparing and working on both macro and micro palaeontological specimens.

Petrographics

The school operates thin-sectioning facilities

Rock Mechanics

The school maintains a well equipped rock testing facility

Sedimentology

As well as traditional sediment analysis equipment of sieves and pipettes, we have a range of more advanced equipment.

Soil Mechanics

The school maintains a well equipped soil testing laboratory.

MPI Transitional Facility

SEE houses a strictly regulated facility to allow importation and processing of soil and water from overseas for research.
