We present some results from classical and quantum gravity in the presence of a positive cosmological constant that have interesting implications for early cosmology.
Bio: Nicholas Tsamis obtained his BSc in Physics from Brown University (USA) in 1977 and his PhD in Theoretical Physics from Harvard University (USA) in 1983. He was a postdoctoral research associate at Stanford University (USA), CERN (Switzerland), and Ecole Polytechnique (France) before being elected as an Associate Professor at the University of Crete in 2002.
