Research Interests

Currently using genomic data (DNA) to help recover threatened species such as kēkēwai (freshwater crayfish) in the Kāi Tahu takiwā as part of the BioHeritage National Science Challenge. More broadly, interested in how the science-policy interface can realise mahika kai, biodiversity and primary industry outcomes through shared values and genuine partnership.
