Seeing Science
Photography Competition 2022

Entries are now open!
UC Science wants to know how you see science and/or mātauranga Māori in Aotearoa
We need your images to help us tell the story of science at UC and beyond. The images could be ultra-close-up magnifications of something that you’re working on right through to images of the earth taken from high in the sky, fungi to giant trees, and anything in between. Science and/or mātauranga Māori encompass a wide scope of subjects and topics, so we’re keen to see just how you picture these.
The aim of the images is to encourage greater participation in science by showing its variety. So, your photos may be used in social media, advertising, school posters, and a variety of other ways so you may see your photo in all sorts of places.
We welcome entries from individuals or groups.
