George Jobberns Prize in Geography

Description

The prize recognises excellence in Master's research in the Department of Geography at the University of Canterbury. The prize was established in 1967 from funds given by graduates in Geography to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Department of Geography and the 25th anniversary of the first Chair of Geography in New Zealand, held by Professor George Jobberns in the Department from 1942 to 1960.
