Lissie Rathbone Scholarship

The scholarship supports undergraduate students of English or History at the University of Canterbury. It was established in 1925 at Canterbury University College by the trustees of the estate of Lissie Rathbone, who had bequeathed one half of her residuary estate for such charitable, educational, or religious objects as the trustees should select. The trustees established similar scholarships at the other colleges of the University of New Zealand.
