Brian Morrison Memorial Scholarships in Engineering

Description

This scholarship has been endowed by the late Mr W Gordon Morrison and Mrs Morrison in memory of their son Brian, a past Chairman of the Engineering Society.

The endowment specifies an annual award to engineering students attending the University of Canterbury, particularly overseas engineering students, who are considered likely in their future lives to promote and foster racial tolerance, co-operation, and understanding, which Brian Morrison during his lifetime and while a student at university earnestly sought.

Eligibility

Full-time students of the University of Canterbury who have completed, or who have been exempted from, the Engineering Intermediate examination and are taking subjects of the Professional courses leading to the BE(Hons).
