Description

This scholarship supports undergraduate Engineering students at the University of Canterbury who completed a university entrance qualification in the Taranaki Region.

APPLYING FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Applications for scholarships for those joining UC in 2019 have now closed. Applications for those intending to start studies in 2020 will open in June 2019.

Eligibility

Applicants must be completing a university entrance qualification in the Taranaki region in the year of application (or, in the case of a gap year, in the year immediately prior).The scholarship is tenable during full-time enrolment at the University in the recipient's first two years of study in a programme for a BE(Hons) with one of the following specialisations:
a. Chemical and Process Engineering;
b. Civil Engineering;
c. Electrical and Electronic Engineering;
d. Mechanical Engineering; or
e. Natural Resources Engineering.
Recipients may hold the scholarship either during the Engineering Intermediate Year and in the First Professional Year, or, in the case of those who accept an offer of Direct Entry into a programme for one of the above specialisations, in the First and Second Professional Years.
