Owen Browning Scholarship in Forestry


These scholarships are provided by the former Hutt Timber Holdings Limited, as a memorial to the late Mr Owen Browning, who was prominent in the development of the New Zealand timber industry.

The online application system will begin accepting applications approximately eight weeks before the closing date.

Applicants must be enrolled, or be intending to enrol, full-time at the University in one of the following:
a. Thesis study in a programme for an MForSc.
b. Part II of a programme for an MSc in Environmental Science, 100% supervised by Kura Ngahere | School of Forestry academics.
c. A programme for a PhD in Forestry or Forest Engineering.
