Nelson Science Scholarship

Description

This scholarship supports old boys of Nelson College studying sciences at the University of Canterbury. The scholarship was founded in 1928 by W P Evans, in memory of his wife Chrissie Mayo Evans and his mother Louisa Bishop Evans. Two or more scholarships are available annually.

Eligibility

Candidates must be pupils of Nelson College, Nelson, who, at the time of selection, will have been enrolled at the school for not less than two full years, and who, not later than the first day of the March immediately following selection, will have attained the age of sixteen years. Recipients must be enrolled for a BSc, BSc(Hons), or MSc degree.
