John Connal Scholarship

Description

This scholarship acknowledges excellence of achievement by 200-level students of Economics, English, French, History, Latin and Mathematics at the University of Canterbury, and supports study for BA, BA(Hons) and MA degrees in those subjects. It was established from a 1919 endowment from the estate of John Connal. Three scholarships are available.

Regulations

Eligibility

The scholarship will be available annually to full-time and part-time students in the year of nomination for the award. Two scholarships will be available to such students who have completed 200-level English or French or History or Latin or Mathematics in that year, and one scholarship will be available to such students who have completed 200-level Economics in that year.
