Each year the University of Canterbury enters the competitive 3MT (three-minute thesis) competition. Research students are given the chance to present their research in 3 minutes with one descriptive slide. The Master's winner will present at the New Zealand final and the PhD finalist will compete in the Asia-Pacific final. Due to Covid-19 the final competitions will be pre-recorded presentations and virtual events. That said, the prize money is very real! Watch this space for more information.
