UC student is one of the youngest New Zealanders fighting bush fires in Australia

Fergus Simpson, 22, from UC’s School of Forestry planned to spend his summer in Australia on a forestry internship but instead found himself among fire fighters battling the blaze to help the community of rural town Tumut.
