Amo Matua | Executive Dean of the UC Business School Professor Paul Ballantine says this achievement showcases our track record of impactful contributions in thought and action leadership relevant to PRME via our research and curriculum.

“As the only Business School in Aotearoa New Zealand to be selected into this cohort we are incredibly proud of the hard mahi to receive global recognition for our work towards the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),” Professor Ballantine says.

“Being a PRME Champion means we are enabling graduates to become future leaders able to balance economic, environmental and social goals while considering the SDGs and their broader impact.”

As well as recognition for delivering value for business and society at large, PRME Champion status represents the UC Business School’s commitment to work collaboratively to develop and promote activities that address shared barriers for the PRME community, with sustainability an important pillar of this work.

The UC Business School joins 47 international Business Schools as PRME Champions.
