Due to a scheduled power outage Library Hours on Sunday, February 2nd will change.
Central (Puaka-James Hight) Library will be closed for the day but we will be opening EPS library from 1 - 5pm instead.
Access to the Central Library returns dropboxes (Undercroft Puaka James Hight) may be restricted due to the power outage - please return items to the EPS library or Macmillan Brown library drop box instead.
If you will be on campus on 2nd February please read the notes about the outage below.
Our annual 11,000 volt power system shutdown is programmed for Sunday 2 February 2020, to test the control system of UC’s back-up power generator.
This will affect the entire campus. The testing process will involve disrupting the power to affected buildings a number of unspecified times during the outage period.
Buildings will be closed to staff and students during the outage. If you are in one of these buildings during the outage you will need to use an emergency exit to leave.
