Augmented reality in architecture and construction

18 May 2020

CNRE researchers and students and Trimble have been using Augmented Reality in architecture and construction projects

HOW TO APPLY

In collaboration with Trimble, Civil and Natural Resources Engineering students in Architectural Engineering have been using augmented reality to visualise designs on-site.

“Augmented Reality has been part of our curriculum in the Master of Architectural Engineering in the last years. Our students always show a great interest in the state-of-the-art AR technologies. The use of AR in class and for the design and research projects has enhanced their curiosity, skill development and academic success.” - Civil & Natural Resources Engineering Lecturer Giuseppe Loporcaro.
