Not often does the humble greeting card get seen beyond the receiver, yet buried across the Library’s archives collection are many one of a kind Christmas cards, offering an insight into the time they were sent.
A mix of commercially printed and personally crafted, it was not expected such items would last long. Often they are stored away after the festive season or thrown out, making ephemera items such as these even more special.
