This week's image is of Trooper Ralph Louis Walker. Walker was born in Akaroa in 1898 to Bonnetter and John Walker. He enlisted in 1916 and left New Zealand with the 19th Reinforcements of the New Zealand Mounted Rifles, that went to Egypt. Walker died at 20 years of age, on July 23rd 1918 of lock-jaw.
