Millicent Baxter, a well known peace activist, daughter of Helen Connon and John Macmillan Brown, and mother of the poet James K. Baxter, commented on this photo: “what a ferocious looking person”. Can you tell us anything about this ferocious looking man? We don’t know who he is or when the photo was taken, but the photographer was Nelson Cherrill.
