provides permanent storage of digitised material including websites, music, moving images, and over 6 million open access ebooks. All material is freely available. Members of the public can upload material, though the majority is collected automatically by web crawlers. The Wayback Machine is vast, archiving over 150 billion webpage captures and allowing people to view archived webpages. The archive can be searched using keyword or browsed by collection.
