Royal Society of New Zealand: Alpha Series
The Alpha Series is a set of educational resources created by the Royal Society of New Zealand to support the learning of science, mathematics and technology in the national curriculum. Each issue looks at a single topic, for example, human evolution, domestic energy use, the Alpine Fault and science as a career. While the series is designed to be used in the classroom, the emphasis is on the impact science has on New Zealand and the wide ranging topics will have general appeal.
