2014 Central and Education Libraries opening hours changes

In response to student feedback and usage statistics, the opening hours of Central Library and Education Library are changing from the start of Semester 1 2014.
Central Library will now remain open until 11pm Monday – Thursday, two hours later than in 2013. Central will also be open later on a Friday, closing at 9pm. Central Library’s opening hours are also extended for the 2013 end-of-year exam period.
The Education Library will no longer open in the evenings and at weekends in 2014, as a result of low demand. Education students are encouraged to make use of the Central and Engineering & Physical Sciences Libraries, which are available for the use of any student. The 24-hour Kotuku computer lab is also available as a study space at Dovedale.
We’ll continue to monitor demand of our libraries to ensure we provide you with the best pattern of opening hours possible.
