Central Library & Learning Hub Level 3 changes: We need your feedback
18 September 2012
As part of the remediation and refurbishment work taking place in the Central Library changes to Level 3 are now taking place. The overall aim is to increase the number of study spaces with a focus on group study, providing both formal and informal spaces with integrated technology.Progress to date has resulted in the collections being moved onto Level 4 of the library and additional study spaces being provided on Level 3.
As part of the development process the library is keen to get your feedback on the study spaces you would like to see in this new space, questions include:
• What types of spaces do you want, quiet, small group or large group?
• Do you use technology within your work?
• What types of furniture do you prefer?
In order to do this two activites will be taking place over the next 2 weeks. The first is a display and feedback wall allowing you to view the plans and tell us what you think. The display is located on Level 3 of the Central Library and Learning Hub. Alternatively you can view the latest plans online. Secondly we will be carrying out a short questionnaire to gain more detailed feedback. This will only take a few minutes and will be happening at 11am, 3pm and 7pm from the 17th – 28th September, again on level 3.
We know it is a busy time but would appreciate it if you could take a few minute to check out the display and feedback wall or help with our questionnaire. This will really help us to develop a new space that meets your needs.
