Banned Books Week 2012

It is the thirtieth anniversary of Banned Books Week, which highlights the value of free and open access to information.The books featured during Banned Books Week have all been targeted with removal or restrictions in libraries and schools. Part of what Banned Books Week celebrates, though, is the fact that many challenged books have remained available.
So come in to the Education Library and have a look at our display, read about why these books were challenged and maybe take some home to read.
