ProQuest databases and ebook outage

ProQuest databases and ebooks will be unavailable from 4pm on Sunday 16 January

  • current library database or system outages

ProQuest will be taking up to an eight-hour maintenance window beginning Sunday, January 16, at 04:00pm to upgrade infrastructure, enhance security, and maintain reliability on many ProQuest products.

During this maintenance window, the following products will be temporarily unavailable:

  • Ebook Central (our main ebook provider at UC Library)
  • ProQuest Databases
  • ProQuest Dissertations & Theses

The outage will last approximately 8 hours and we expect that all resources will be back online by midnight NZDT.
