Student access to Libraries over summer in alert level 2

  • placeholder_library_news

Under COVID-19 alert level 2, as there are still limits to numbers of people in buildings, Canterbury card swipe is necessary to enter Puaka-James Hight (Central) and EPS libraries.

The swipe system used by security (cardax) restricts access to current Canterbury cards only. For students the cardax system will check your enrolment details and will reject swipes for students not currently enrolled (e.g. those studying in semester 2 whose courses have ended).

Students not enrolled in summer school courses, that still require access to the library over summer, should visit the security office to ask for their access to be extended.

We apologise for the inconvenience.
