About the library

The UC Library collection is distributed across three libraries located on the Ilam campus and three storage locations on Ilam and Dovedale campuses.

The Library was first established at Canterbury College in 1879 and has become a vital part of the University.

The Library serves the University's people and communities to provide information and skills for current and lifelong learning.
