UC Business School Renews Partnership with Chamber
20 December 2019
The University of Canterbury has renewed it’s Partnership Agreement with the Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce (The Chamber) for another year.
The partnership encourages UC students to participate in Chamber conferences and guest speaker events, as well as giving Chamber members access to UC MBA Thought Leadership presentations and other UC events.
The Chamber is also a valued member of the UC Business School’s External Advisory Board. The board helps set the direction of the UC Business School and ensures UC Business School students have the kind of skills, attributes and real experience employers are looking for.
“Through our partnership with the Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce we are able to draw on the experience and knowledge of organisations throughout the Canterbury region, our students greatly benefit from the insights and opportunities the team from The Chamber bring to the table.” – Paul Ballantine, Head of School, UC Business School.
“We greatly value our partnership with the UC Business School and are very pleased to announce the renewal of our Partnership Agreement for another year. This enables us to utilise the skills, knowledge and experience of experts in the business field to help inform our organisation and our members on key issues, such as the future of work. It also enables us to play a role in helping to shape the business leaders of tomorrow through providing insight and connections with the business community, reinforcing our key driver of partnering for impact.” – Leeann Watson, Chief Executive, The Chamber
