    New students will be sent a welcome email to their nominated private email address with a link to the new password tool (uc.okta.com) to set a password. 

    The password you create will give access to all UC online systems, including LEARN, library resources, Office 365 and myUC.

    Note: Mobile phone numbers are only held for the purpose of a 2nd factor authentication (i.e. text message code) and will not be used for any other purposes.

    Your password must:

    • Have a minimum of 8 characters, and up to a maximum of 15.
    • Only use alphabetic/numeric characters.
    • Contain a combination of uppercase, lowercase or numeric characters.
    • Have no spaces or special characters.
    • Not use any part of your own name or your username.
    • Not contain or use the word "password".

    Password Reset

    All passwords take up to 5 minutes to change through the UC systems.
