Activating your student IT account
Before you can access your student IT account, you will need to set your password by clicking on this link.
Your password must have a minimum of 8 characters, and up to a maximum of 15. Please note that only alphabetic/numeric characters may be used. Your password must contain a combination of uppercase, lowercase or numeric characters. No spaces or special characters allowed. Passwords are case sensitive. You cannot use any part of your own name or your username. Additionally, you cannot use the word "password.
The password you create will give access to all UC online systems, including LEARN, library resources, Office 365 and myUC. Once set, it can take up to 20 minutes to update across all the UC systems.

Changing your password
To change your password, you need to login to RAS.
All passwords take 30 minutes to propagate through the UC systems.
If you forget your password, please contact the service desk by phone.
Staff cannot request visitor password resets. If a visitor needs their password changed, and they cannot login to RAS, the visitor must call the Service Desk directly.
