The Health Centre is still open and is offering virtual consultations. Please ask Reception to book a phone consultation with the Nurse, Doctor or Counsellor and they will contact you to assess whether a phone consultation is appropriate.
Please DO NOT just come to the Health Centre without phoning and being triaged first. You will be turned away if you don't already have an appointment made. Patients enrolled at our clinic, including International Students will be given instructions on how to contact our triage Nurse or Doctor. Domestic students enrolled elsewhere will be advised to contact their own Doctor.
You will be seen in person if this is required. You will be met at the front entrance by a Nurse or Health Care Clinical Assistant who will once again ask you the following:
- Have you returned from overseas in the past 14 days
- Have you been in contact with someone who has returned from overseas in the past 14 days.
- You MUST tell us if you have any symptoms of a cough and/or sore throat and/or cold / and/or fever and/or shortness of breath.
- Please answer all of our questions honestly to ensure we can offer you the correct treatment option and at the same time keeping our staff and other patients safe from illness.
No one will be allowed to enter the Health Centre without a prior phone discussion from a Nurse or Doctor.
