Overview
Mathematicians and statisticians are developing new tools and techniques to deal with problems in areas from business management to biology, as well as considering new insights in the more traditional areas of physical science and engineering – meaning the versatility and marketability of these skills increases every year.

You can take courses majoring in Mathematics and Statistics as part of the Bachelor of Science with Honours.
The Mathematics and Statistics programme includes:
- MATH 449 Project or STAT 449 Project
- 90 points chosen from between MATH 401–490 and STAT 401–490
At least 45 points must be chosen from each of MATH and STAT courses.
