Vibrant student community

At UC your education doesn't end at the lecture theatre door. Join a community where you can be who you are and do what you love.

Clubs at Canterbury

Supporting over 130 clubs and organising regular festivals and on-campus entertainment, UCSA is one of the most socially active students’ associations in the country. You will soon feel at home and make loads of new friends at UC, as there's something to suit everyone’s interests and abilities.

The Student Volunteer Army is one of the many clubs at the heart of the community culture at UC. The group sprang up during the 2010/2011 Canterbury earthquakes and has successfully switched from helping homeowners shovel liquefaction to sustainably serving the community.
