UC offers the exciting ‘Go Waitaha Canterbury’ scholarship exclusively to Year 13 students from Auckland and Wellington.
The UC Go Waitaha Canterbury scholarship provides the ultimate all-round student living/learning community for up to 150 students to experience the very best of what Canterbury, Christchurch and this University have to offer. Enjoy a range of personal development opportunities and adventures as you explore and learn about our region.
NOTE: The nominated hall of residence for the Go Waitaha Canterbury Scholarship this year is University Hall.
Accommodation
- $5,000 scholarship towards accommodation costs with Unilodge
- On campus, supported living/learning community
- Fully catered accommodation
Personal Development
- A range of personal development workshops and seminars
- Professional and career development seminars and opportunities
Experiences
- Four educational outdoor recreational field trips, unique to the Canterbury region. This includes:
- a winter field trip,
- a summer field trip,
- urban and outdoor activities
- Opportunities to experience and be a part of the Christchurch rebuild, and engage with our Christchurch community and project leaders, either through courses or the Student Volunteer Army.
