Māori orientation events
Māori Orientation events are a chance for new students and whānau to meet with the Māori Student Development Team (MSDT) and find out about the support and services on offer at UC. Whānau are welcome and encouraged to attend.
We guarantee plenty of fun and kai to give you the best start at UC.
All Māori students and their whanaunga are invited to attend.

Pasifika Orientation - Get FRESH 2020

An orientation event, Get FRESH is a one-day fun-packed programme introducing all first-year Pacific students to UC, designed to give you the best possible start to your first year at university.
Monday 10 February
International Induction is open to all international students arriving to study at UC for the first time.
Take the opportunity to join this essential programme which, together with attending O Day, will help you get off to a great start at UC.
New Rainbow Students Afternoon Tea
Thursday 13 February, 3pm-4.30pm
Rainbow/Trans/Gender Diverse/LGBTIQA+ students are invited to an afternoon tea to make some friends and see what support is on offer at UC for rainbow students.
QCanterbury will be there to let you know about the awesome activities the UC club will be doing in 2020.
