The DIGITAL EDUCATION FUTURES LAB invites Year 11- 13 students to join us in solving digital dilemmas that face young people today.

How? A two day challenge using STEM skills to develop disruptive solutions to digital dilemmas

Facilitated by Te Puna Rangahau i-Ako | Digital Education Futures Lab and UC students as part of a Curious Minds project on Living and learning in a digital world.

  • Play a role in research that aims to create awareness around issues and concerns with digital technologies - problem-solving

What you can expect:

  • explore digital issues that interest you (eg screen time, AI, privacy and security, algorithms, access and equity, fake news etc).
  • use STEM skills eg problem solving, creativity, critical analysis, teamwork, independent thinking, initiative, communication, digital literacy

  • engage in activities that will get you thinking about a range of digital issues
