After completing his BE(Hons), Nick started working for Transpower in the Graduate Program. Nick has had a number of roles since the Graduate Programme, he spent three years providing engineering support to the service delivery team for operational faults and issues. His key focus areas were on Circuit Breakers and SF6 gas management and some interesting fault response events like the Seddon Earthquake and Port Hills Fires. Since then Nick has spent three years with the Service Delivery Team managing the substations maintenance contract for the Canterbury Area and has recently branched out to take up managing Substation and Lines maintenance for Nelson and the West Coast.
