The 2022 Careers Convention was held on Thursday 28th July in the Engineering Core. The event included an expo of company stands with seventeen Aruhiko - PEET member companies, followed by industry talks and networking. The expo was well attended with approximately 200 or more students coming from a variety of engineering disciplines.

The evening saw inspiring talks from senior engineers and managers in the industry, from Campbell Hammond (Edison Consulting), Yanosh Irani (Meridian Energy) and Andrew Renton (Transpower). This was followed by a Graduate and Young Engineers Panel which gave students the opportunity to ask questions and gain some valuable insights about entering the industry. Students had the option to attend the talks and panel online and face to face.

The evening concluded with pizzas and the opportunity for students and industry to network.  Thank you to everyone that came along to the 2022 Power Careers Events last week and helped to make it a success!
